Hi Rory,
Greetings from the Delta Crown Club in the Atlanta airport. I am on my way to Guatemala to give a Guerrilla Marketing seminar in Spanish.
I always take the escalator in Atlanta, because the stairs are blocked. When you try to open the door to the stairs, an alarm goes off. But I never take the train. Today I walked one mile to the E terminal. A great start to a 4-hour trip. And I always love to walk after getting off the airplane. There is a magnificent exhibit of African sculptures between the T and A terminals that most people miss when they take the train.
Have you figured out a way to avoid the escalators in the Atlanta airport?

Steve,
Glad to hear that you’re still on the mission my brother and that life is good for you!!! Thank you so much for your new book that you sent me – I love it! It looks great.
Funny you should ask about Atlanta airport. Actually I have quite the history going through there on my Take The Stairs World Tour. Both times I went through I was able to get around the seemingly impossible “escalator only” environment. You can find the stories here:

See you in the stairwell, Rory
